ACADEMIC IRREGULARITIES

An Academic Irregularity occurs when there is cause to consider that work
submitted by a student is not wholly sound in terms of its academic
integrity.  

This may include, but is not limited to, plagiarism.  The Academy uses Turnitin to produce Similarity Reports.  

We have three categories of Academic Irregularity within our PGDip program:

  • Poor Academic Practice – Cases of inadequate and poor scholarship

  • Academic Misconduct – Minor/limited cases

  • Academic Offence – Substantial cases, multiple minor cases

We adhere to our Academic Irregularities Policy
